In 2022, Orchard Creative teamed up with Ocean Spray to make a heartwarming little holiday ad about a tray of jiggling cranberry jellies. People liked it a lot and it had a huge impact for the brand--it increased sales by 27% and created lots of conversation about whether canned jelly was holy or profane.

This year, Ocean Spray asked us to create a sequel that featured Cranberry Juice Cocktail instead of the jelly. But at first blush, cranberry juice is a lot less strange and provocative than a jiggling jelly.

Our team got an idea: What if cranberry juice “spiked” the punch and turned the party into something very unexpected?

We thought of a carnival ride, employing centrifugal force for wild fun.

Inspired by (no joke ) Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" video, Director Jeff Low figured out a rig to defy gravity's pull on human bodies, and the rest is…for you to judge, Dear Reader.

Another custom track by Mack Goudy Jr. made it all work spectacularly.
